Rick Stephenson experienced many challenges during his childhood which influenced him to seek a relationship with the Living Savior. He received the Holy Spirit baptism in 1993 as a result of attending a non-denominational Bible study.
In 1995, Rick received his calling into ministry and in 2004 God began opening doors for his ministry. Rick is currently a minister credentialed with the Assemblies of God. He has ministered in various capacities including Bible studies, cell groups, drama, jail ministry, music ministry and street evangelizing. Because of his experiences, Rick understands people come to the Lord with a variety of needs and has developed great sensitivity and tact for reaching the lost.
As part of his ministry, Rick has been utilized by God at various times in all of the gifts of the Spirit; tongues, interpretation, prophecy, words of knowledge and wisdom, discernment, faith, miracles and healing. He has seen anemia, arthritis, bone spurs, broken ribs, cancer, headaches, sore backs, toothaches, as well as other ailments and diseases completely healed.
Rick’s musical interest began at age 7. He took 10 years of piano lessons, began songwriting at the age of 16, was lead singer of a local band and performed in semi-professional musical review troops. After coming to Christ, Rick developed into a dedicated worshiper, often leading services and even holding roles as music director in Green Bay, West Allis, and currently in Mukwonago, WI.
Rick has been recognized with awards from various song writing contests; most recently for his songs “Sanctuary Of My Heart” and “You Are Great”, both of which can be found on Rick's debut CD release entitled "Sanctuary Of My Heart".
Accountability
Rick Stephenson is a minister credentialed with the Assemblies of God and is accountable to and in good standing with the General Council and the Assemblies of God, the Wisconsin/Northern Michigan District of the Assemblies of God and his local church. It is my priority to be accountable to and under the authority of the local pastor in each place I minister. I am your guest to serve and bless you in any way I can.
Size
The size of the church does not matter. Travel will be by car to services in the states of IA, IL, IN, MI, MN, and WI. These states are within a reasonable driving distance from my “home base” in Southeastern Wisconsin. Consideration should be given to providing mileage when traveling by car. Churches outside of these states are asked to please provide airfare to and from the scheduled services, unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Accommodations
I am very flexible and will accept any reasonable accommodation arrangement. While a motel room is preferred, I realize that in some situations it may not be possible. If that should be the case, I can easily adapt to staying with the pastor’s family or a family from the church. Again, I am flexible and come to serve and to bless you regardless of where I stay.
Finance
The ministry is provided on a very affordable basis. I will work personally with you to be sure arrangements are made in advance, taking in consideration such factors as distance traveled, number and types of services requested, length of stay and all other factors important to you.
Cancellation
Most pastors plan their calendars many months in advance. For this reason, it is difficult to reschedule a canceled meeting with less than three months notice. However, situations may come up at times where canceling is unavoidable. Such as 1) emergencies, 2) financial adversity, 3) a pastor’s resignation and 4) inclement weather. In these kinds of situations, it would be greatly appreciated if you would try to help by attempting to have the meeting rescheduled with another church in the area.
Rick Stephenson is available for ministry with the following focuses:
Abundance and Prosperous Living
A focus that God will provide abundance (not always materially) to those who love and serve Him.
Baptism in the Holy Spirit
A focus on God’s promise that if we seek His Spirit, He will come and dwell within us by means of the Holy Spirit.
End Times
A focus on God’s promise that He will soon return and deliver those who are called by His name. Signs of the times and purpose for knowing the signs will be presented.
Growth and Discipleship
A focus on growth and discipleship for the believer to be able to partake of the promises of God. Helping train the body to be able to minister the promises of God to others encourages personal and corporate growth.
Healing
A focus on God’s promise that if we trust Him, He will bring health both spiritually and physically.
Music Service
This focus is entirely made up of music with inspirational guidance between songs.
Praise and Worship
A focus on God’s promise that He would inhabit the praises of His people. Teaching on the purposes of worship to draw into His presence will enrich the individual's experience and enliven corporate times of worship.
Repentance, Restoration and Revival
A focus on God’s promise that if we repent, He will restore and send revival.
Other
This focus can be a topic specified by the pastor, as it may be difficult for a pastor to address certain issues with their congregation, such as stewardship/tithing.
Each of these focuses or any combination of them can be done as a one-day focus or as a series of services.
In every service regardless of the message focus, an altar call is given for the salvation of the lost, recommitment to Christ by those who have backslidden, and the cleansing from sin.
Please keep in mind: In addition to ministering in church settings, I am also available to minister at banquets, camp meetings, conferences, conventions, retreats etc.
